Saturn in January 2005
Saturn imaged in January 2005 with an inexpensive color webcam (Philips Vesta Pro) and a Celestron C9.25 @ F30 (TV barlow). It is a quite crude image for today's standard, it was taken at the beginning of the "video revolution" (aka lucky imaging) that is now the common way of planetary imaging. Very good seeing conditions. Taken from Monte Labbro, Italy.
